Turn hook (1) to closed position with an appropriated tool

 Consider the manufacturer instructions in the fifth wheel reviews regarding the worn, admissible clearances and adjustments as well.

 In this position, locking device (4) should automatically act and lever (3) should return to the locked position.
Lever (3) just returns and remains locked if locking device (4) has correctly been fitted.

Unlock lever (3), pull it out and lock it with tension device (2)

 Hook (1) should unlock.

Turn hook (1) to open position with an appropriated tool.

 Lever (3) should release from its retaining position.

Check if fifth wheel has firmly been fitted in the assemble plate and if it has firmly been fitted to chassis frame
