Open the engine compartment

 Access to perform the maintenance and repair works varies according to the body type/manufacturer.
Refer to the body manufacturer instructions.

Loosen the clips (1)

 It is not necessary to remove the clips.

Remove the air filter cover (5)

Pull the fixing bracket of the air filter element (3)

 Pull the fixing bracket of the air filter element (3) with care to not damage the air filter housing (4).

Remove the air filter element (2) from the fixing bracket of the air filter element (4)



Clean

Clean the air filter housing (4) internally

 Only if necessary.



Install

Install the air filter element (2) in the fixing bracket of the air filter element (3)

 Pay attention for the correct seating on the sealing surfaces.

Fit the fixing bracket of the air filter element (3)

 Fit the fixing element of the air filter element (3), together with the air filter element (2) into the air filter housing (4).

 Fit it with care to not damage the air filter housing (4).

Install the sealing cover (5)

 Pay attention for the correct seating in the sealing surfaces and in the enough tension of the clips (1).

Confirm the air filter element replacement (2) in the maintenance booklet

 For higher safety, mark the replacement date on the sealing cover (5) and write it down in the maintenance booklet.

Close the engine compartment
