Remove

Loosen the catches (arrow) of the filter cover (2).

Externally clean the air filter.

Remove the filtering element (1).

The cleaning of the filtering element (1) is not recommended.

When utilizing the safety filtering element (optional), it will have to be replaced every three replacements of the main element or after, two years of use, at maximum.

Install

Install a new filtering element (1).

Install the filtering element observing the perfect seating on the sealing surface.

For more safety mark the date of replacement on the top of the element and record the change in the maintenance manual.

Install the filter cover (2).

Check the tension of the catches (arrow).
