Check valves clearance (arrows), with the feeler gauge, between the rocker arm and the valve bridge.    .  . 

 It is not necessary to adjust valve clearance if the "check values" are obtained".

Adjust the valve clearance (arrows).  . 

 Using an appropriate wrench, loosen the locknut (1) and adjust valve clearance, acting on the adjustment screw (2). Tighten the locknut (1) to tighten the adjustment screw (2).

Check valve clearance and adjust if necessary.

 When adjusting valve clearance, use feeler gauge corresponding to the "adjustment values".

 Valve clearance is correct when, after tightening the locknut (1), a slight resistance is noticed when moving the feeler gauge between the rocker and the valve jumper.
