Checking

Visually check all lines and hoses of the brake system, and all other lines and hoses for oil, brake fluid, fuel, coolant and compressed air

 Check lines and hoses for leaks and damage or other conditions which prevent continued use (e.g. corrosion, porosity, chafing marks etc.).

If any damage or defects are found,

rectify any damage/defects

- subject to separate repair order.

Check that all lines and hoses as well as sensor cables for ABS and brake lining wear indicators are installed and secured properly and free of chafing.

 If any damage or defects are found,



rectify any damage/defects

- subject to separate repair order.

Check pressure loss in the compressed air system; release the parking brake before commencing this

 Secure the vehicle against rolling.

In the event of greater pressure loss:

Identify and eliminate cause of pressure loss.
