1 | Carry out a visual inspection on all rigid and flexible pipes of the brake system and of the clutch actuation, as well as on all rigid and flexible pipes of lubricating oil, coolant, compressed air and vacuum | Make sure the pipes are in good condition; even so, examine to see if there are damages or other conditions that restrain its use (such as corrosion, porosity, wear by friction, bents, fissures etc.).
2 | Check if there is some friction points along all rigid and flexible tubes, as all as in the ABS sensor cables and those of the brake pads wear indicator. Check the fastening | Should damage or deficiencies be detected, carry out repairs in the circuits and fastenings. If necessary replace the pipes, flexible tubes and wires.
3 | Check for pressures loss in the compressed air system, releasing previously the parking brake | Chock the vehicle wheels to prevent unintentional rolling.
If there is a considerable loss of pressure, locate the cause and eliminate it. |
