Check gap (a) between the pole plates of the stator (2) and the front rotor (1) using a feeler gauge

Measure the gap at all pole plates of the stator (2), then form the mean value from the measurement values.

The mean value must be within the specified gap.

It must be possible to pull the feeler gauge between the front rotor (1) and the pole plates of the stator (2) under slight resistance.

If the mean value or an individual measurement is outside the specified tolerance:

Adjust gap - subject to a separate repair order.

Measure the gap (a) between the pole plates of the stator (2) and the rear rotor (1) using a feeler gauge

Measure the gap at all pole plates of the stator (2), then form the mean value from the measurement values.

The mean value must be within the specified gap.
