Removal

Remove the bell hubs and the half-shafts

Remove the differential lock control cylinder

On axles fitted with differential lock

Remove the electric connector (1).

Detach the transmission shaft flange at rear axle

Support it safely.

Remove the complete differential (2)

Utilize a pit or suitable lifting equipment that provides safety.



Installing

Install the differential lock control cylinder

On axles fitted with differential lock

Lubricate the components in advance.

Mechanically lock the differential lock

On axles fitted with differential lock

Install the complete differential (2) in the axle

Clean the sealing surfaces on the case and the seating surface on the axle.

Utilize a suitable pit.

Apply a sealing compound on the contact areas.

 Microencapsulated bolts are utilized on the steel body of the differential housing.


