Disassemble the injector support combination (1)

Mark the injector support combination (1) at the upper part of the injector support to the respective cylinder.

Supply the ultrasound cleaner (2) with cleaning liquid and heat it up to 60 °C

Observe the ultrasound cleaner's instructions manual (2).

Dilute the cleaning liquid in the proportion 1:2 with water (0.5 l cleaning liquid and 1.0 l water) mix it and supply the ultrasound cleaner tray (2) up to the mark (supply quantity of approx. 1.5 l).

Position the cover (3) on the ultrasound cleaner (2), put in the vertical position the injector support combination (1) in the cover hole (3) and carry out the cleaning operation

Observe the safety instructions of the ultrasound cleaner (2).

Assemble the injector support combination (1)

The injector support combinations (1) must be assembled in the same engine immediately after the cleaning (max. after 3 to 4 h), as otherwise the injector support combinations (1) are rendered inoperative due to corrosion (the injector nozzle gets stuck/locks), which can cause damages to the engine during the start-up process

Pay attention to the marks on the injector support

Risk of accident due to the involuntary movement when the engine is operating. Risk of injury caused by smashing and burns due to contact during the start-up process or with the operating engine

Make sure that the vehicle will not accidentally move. Wear work clothes well closed and tight. Do not touch the heated or moving parts.

Actuate the engine start-up as soon as the injector support combinations are assembled (1) keep it operating

The fuel system bleeds automatically. If the engine start-up does not occur or occurs just fr a small period of time:

In the case of engines 904.9, 906.9 repeat the engine start-up process after a 2 minutes pause.
