 Unclip trim (4) from A-pillar.

Detach electrical connections from Telestart receiver (A49/4)

Cut off antenna installed on Telestart receiver (A49/4)

 Antenna is no longer required and it can remain in the vehicle.

Detach antenna installed to Telestart receiver (A49/4)

Remove bracket (1)

Remove Telestart receiver (A49/4) from bracket (1)



Install

Route new antenna (2), as shown, behind glove compartment and trim (4) on A-pillar

 Route antenna (2) as far up the A-pillar as possible, plug end piece (approx. 10 cm) of antenna (2) under the headliner. Stow extended length of antenna (2) behind glove compartment.

Connect adapter line (3) to Telestart receiver (A49/4)

Mount Telestart receiver (A49/4) to bracket (1)
