Function
The various input conditions of the PSM control unit can be set to Yes (Y) or No (N) according to the version required. The function at the control unit output is executed only if all conditions set to (Y) at the control unit input are satisfied depending on the logical links.
Input signals:
Noff button
The PSM control unit receives the "rpm OFF" signal via the input (X4.12).
Emergency operation:
The input X4.12 cannot be monitored; the information at the input is made available without being checked.
Cruise control lever "OFF" actuated
The PSM control unit receives the "rpm OFF" signal via the cruise control lever.
Emergency operation:
In the event of faults on the vehicle CAN bus, the function is not executed.
Output signal:
If the "rpm OFF" signal is received at the PSM control unit, the original target engine speed is output.
Via the vehicle CAN bus, the engine speed set using the N+ and N- functions is returned to the originally set rpm value (by means of fixed speed or hand throttle actuator).
