Danger!

Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between columns of vehicle lift and position four support plates at vehicle lift support points specified by vehicle manufacturer.

Use only approved tensioning devices; shield off hazard area if necessary.
Inspect special tools for damage and proper operation (visual inspection).

Support rear axle with transmission lifter

Detach rear spring (4) from front spring bracket



Install

4

Secure rear spring (4) to front spring bracket using a new bolt

 Do not tighten the front spring mounting yet otherwise the spring bushings will be under stress.

 Replace nut (3).

Lower vehicle

Tighten front spring attachment

 The spring attachment must be tightened with the suspension compressed.


