Remove oil pan drain screw (6)

 Allow the oil to drain completely in the hot condition.

Screw in oil pan drain screw (6) and tighten

 Replace sealing ring (7).

Detach oil line

Detach retaining clamps of right oil line (10) from oil pan

Detach right oil line (10) from automatic transmission



Hold the right oil line (10) in a bucket with scale markings

 The bucket should have a capacity of at least 10 liters.

Unlock cap (93)

 Break off plate (93a) using a suitable tool and push the part of the safety pin (93b) remaining in the plug (93) downwards and out.

Pull plug (93) off filler pipe

Place funnel on filler pipe and fill transmission with 7 liters of oil

 Approx. 13 liters of transmission oil are required for the entire flushing procedure.

Start engine and allow transmission oil to run through the right oil line (10) into the bucket


It is essential to observe the work procedure and Specifications for Operating Fluids.
The transmission will otherwise be damaged.

 The aid of an assistant is required for the flushing process

When there are 2 liters of transmission oil in the bucket, immediately switch off the engine

Top up with 2 liters of transmission oil

Repeat flushing procedure twice

Reattach right oil line (10) to automatic transmission



Check oil level in automatic transmission, correct if necessary

Fill automatic transmission with transmission oil after repair work or maintenance
