The left front door control module is connected with the controller area network bus class B (interior compartment) (CAN-B) to exchange data.

The left front door control module reads in the following sensors and switches, actuates their function and instrument illumination if applicable and switches following loads via semi-conductor switches

Left front IR receiver (A26/1)
Hall signals for left front power window motor (M10/3)
Mirror up/down adjustment potentiometer (M21/1r2) (with code (275a) memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirror))
Mirror adjustment in/out potentiometer (M21/1r3) (with code (275a) memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirror))
Reads in following switches:
Remote trunk lid release switch (S15/1)
Driver-side trunk lid open/close switch (S15/3) (with code (881b) remote trunk locking (RTL))
Driver-side power window switch group (S20/1)
Outside mirror adjustment switch with/without mirror fold-in/out feature (S50/1)
Left front seat adjustment switch group S91/2) (with code (275a) memory package (driver's seat, steering column, mirror))
