CDI control module design

The CDI control module (A53) consists of an electronics pcb which is designed as a multilayer board with components fitted to both sides. The pcb is clamped between the two housing parts.

The routing of the wiring harness at the socket (five plug connections) has been split into "interfering cables" and "sensitive cables" in order to improve the electromagnetic compatibility. it has been possible to achieve cost, volume and weight savings as a result of the almost exclusive use of SMDs (surface mounted devices).
