| Switch off ignition.
|
|
|

| Disconnect ground lead from battery.

| Remove bolts (2) from underside of steering wheel.

| Remove airbag (1) with attached electric line from steering wheel.

|

| Disconnect electrical connector from airbag (1).
| Installation: The electrical connector must latch into place.

| Install in the reverse order
|
|
|
7
| Perform function test.
| The airbag indicator lamp should not come on when the wheels are fully turned in either direction.
|
|
8
| Dispose of removed airbag (1) properly.
| Only if new airbag (1) was installed.
