Deactivating

We recommend installing the child seat in the rear if possible. If, in individual cases, customer expresses the desire to fasten a child's seat pointing backward on the passenger seat, deactivate the passenger airbag

Following deactivation the airbag can be reactivated at any time.

Entry in the vehicle papers is not required.
