Remove/install

Remove left and right sun visor.

Release sun visor brackets (8) through the front openings with a suitable screwdriver, turn by a quarter revolution in the direction of the arrow, and remove.

Remove inside rearview mirror.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) from the multifunction camera.

Disconnect electrical connector (5) from rain and light sensor.

Remove overhead control panel.

Remove dome lamp in the rear passenger compartment.

Remove A-pillar trim on driver's side.

Disconnect electrical connectors (6).

 The number of electrical connectors (6) may vary depending on the vehicle equipment involved.

Unclip electrical wiring harness (7) from the A-pillar on the driver's side.

Remove left and right top B-pillar trim.

Remove left and right top C-pillar trim.

Remove center console.

Remove driver seat.

Remove steering wheel.

Remove all grab handle from the roof.

Remove all retaining clamps (3) of the grab handle from the roof.

Remove retaining clips (2).


Remove retaining clips (2) carefully.
Otherwise, the roof lining (1) may be damaged.

Remove sealing frame of the rear left door cutout.

Release sealing frame of all door cutouts in the area of the roof lining (1).

Remove roof lining (1) through the rear left door cutout from the vehicle.

 Helper required.

Install in the reverse order



Check

Perform function test of all component parts installed in roof lining (1).

Perform function test of the multifunction camera.
