Switch off the ignition and remove the transmitter key from the EIS control unit

Only for model 639.603/703 with engine 780.994 with code MA0 (E-CELL 60 kW)


Do not begin working on electrical or electronic components earlier than 1 min after switching off the ignition.
Otherwise faults could occur in the battery management system.

Remove paneling (1), starting from the top (arrow)

Unscrew screw (6) from check strap (7)

 Installation: Replace bolt (6).

 Screw/bolt, check strap to A-pillar

Pull paneling (1) up slightly

 Installation: Check clips (2) for damage, replace if necessary. The guide pins (3) must engage in the guides (4) correctly. Ensure the door frame sealing rubber (5) is positioned correctly.

Disconnect the electrical connector from tweeter, A-pillar on left (H4/87) and tweeter, A-pillar on right (H4/88) and remove the electrical line from the paneling (1)

Only with code E66 (Sound system)

Remove trim (1)

Remove tweeter, A-pillar on left (H4/87) and tweeter, A-pillar on right (H4/88) from paneling (1)

Only with code E66 (Sound system) and only when replacing the paneling (1).

Remove check strap (7) from paneling (1)

Only for model 639 with code SH9 (windowbag for driver and front passenger) and only when replacing the paneling (1).

Install in the reverse order


