Drain oil from axle gear housing



Axle gear housing rear axle oil change

Disconnect propeller shaft from rear axle

 Support propeller shaft.

Detach differential lock plug (4)

Detach compressed air connection for differential lock (5)

 Installation: Use new sealing rings.

Position suitable lifting device on cover of through-drive (1)

Remove bolt (3)

Pry off through-drive cover (1) evenly

 Screw two bolts M121.5 into the pry-off thread on the through-drive cover (1).

 Installation: Clean the sealing surfaces on the through-drive cover (1) or on the through-drive housing (2) and coat with sealant.

Install in the reverse order
