Remove wheel hub

Bend up locking plate (1).

Unscrew outer slotted nut using claw wrench 906 589 00 07 00 or claw wrench 309 589 01 07 00.

Remove locking plate (1).

Unscrew inner slotted nut (2) using claw wrench 906 589 00 07 00 or claw wrench 309 589 01 07 00.

Remove thrust plate (3).

Remove wheel hub (4) with outer wheel bearing (5).

Put on wheel hub

Place wheel hub (4) onto axle tube.

Grease outer wheel bearing (5).

Insert outer wheel bearing (5).

Put on thrust plate (3).

Remove/put on wheel hub

Screw on inner slotted nut (2) using claw wrench 906 589 00 07 00 or claw wrench 309 589 01 07 00   .


Tighten inner slotted nut (2) to the specified torque while constantly turning the wheel hub. Turn back the inner slotted nut (2) and then tighten fully against the thrust plate (3) so there is no clearance. Then turn back 1/8 revolution.

Fit locking plate (1).


Replace locking plate (1).

Tighten outer slotted nut to specified tightening torque using claw wrench 906 589 00 07 00 or claw wrench 309 589 01 07 00   .
