Remove/install

Switch off ignition

Unscrew union nut (3) from diagnostic socket (X13) and remove cap (2)

Remove footwell trim on driver-side (1) on the right next to the steering column

Installation: Slide bottom edge of footwell trim on driver-side (1) into bracket on floor panel. Pay attention to the position of the lug at the diagnostic socket.

Disconnect electrical connector (4) of the foot throttle actuator (B1) at the multipoint connector

Unscrew bolts (5) and remove foot throttle actuator (B1)

Install in the reverse order

Teach in foot throttle actuator (B1) using STAR DIAGNOSIS

Only if foot throttle actuator (B1) has been replaced.

Read out fault memory in the drive control, control unit with STAR DIAGNOSIS and delete faults if necessary
