Remove/install

 Danger

Do not touch damaged or defective live component parts and lines or non-insulated electrical connections and lines.

Switch off ignition

Remove air intake line (1)

Remove screw/bolt/bolts (5)

Remove cylinder head cover trim (2)

 Installation:
Ensure that
grommet (4) of control line duct is correctly seated.

Remove spark plug connectors (E83.1, E83.3)

Disconnect electrical connectors at ignition coils (R9, R39)

 Installation: Ensure correct line installation and assignment of connectors.

Remove screws (3)

 Ignition coil to cylinder head cover

Remove ignition coils (R9, R39)

Install in the reverse order

 Crankcase ventilation, cylinder head cover
