Disconnect battery ground line

Remove battery tray

Pull locking lever (1, 3) to outside and disconnect electrical connectors (2, 4) at the CDI control unit (N3/20, N3/21 or N3/30)

Installation: Ensure correct seating of seals in electrical connectors (2, 4).

Unclip CDI control unit (N3/20, N3/21 or N3/30) from the bracket (arrows) and remove

Install in the reverse order

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS, read out DTC memory and erase if required

Connect STAR DIAGNOSIS and read out fault memory
