Risk of death caused by vehicle slipping or toppling off of the lifting platform.

Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

Drain/collect engine oil

 Installation: Replace sealing ring of oil drain screw.

 Oil drain screw on oil pan

Detach right oil line (2) and left oil line (3) of the automatic transmission from oil pan bottom section (1)

 Screw/bolt, oil pan bottom section to oil pan top section

Remove the two screws for automatic transmission oil line at oil pan

Detach high pressure line (4) of the rack-and-pinion steering from the oil pan bottom section (1) and tie up

Detach oil pan bottom section (1)

 Screw/bolt, oil pan bottom section to oil pan top section

Clean

Clean sealing surfaces

 Do not use any sharp-edged tools or abrasive paper as this will damage the sealing surfaces.

Install in the reverse order

Risk of accident caused by vehicle starting off by itself when engine is running. Risk of injury caused by contusions and burns during starting procedure or when working near the engine as it is running

Secure vehicle to prevent it from moving by itself.
Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes.
Do not touch hot or rotating parts.
