Seats
In the new Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupe model 290, the driver's seat and front passenger seat can be configured in various scenarios. The selection ranges from a sporty-comfortable seat to a sports seat or to contoured performance seat with integrated head restraint. Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door coupe model 290 also offers the various seat configurations for the rear passenger compartment to suit any requirement. These range from an asymmetrical foldable rear bench seat for the family to two variants with two individual seats. The High Class variant will therefore meet all the requirements of a business sedan.

Foldable rear seats
In order to increase the loading volume of the vehicle, the split backrest in the rear can be unlocked electrically and then folded over towards the front.
The left and right seat backrests can be released by pressing the trunk rear passenger compartment seat backrest release button. The center backrest in the rear is mechanically coupled to the left backrest. As a result, it is always released and folded over together with the left backrest.
Collision avoidance:
If, when folding down the respective seat backrest, there is a risk of collision with the driver's seat or front passenger seat, the respective front seat is moved forward accordingly and the backrest uprighted and moved upward.

The trunk capacity of 395 liters is supplemented by a further approx. 60 liters under the trunk floor. When the backrests are folded down, the volume is up to 1,324 liters. The wide-cut cargo area opening makes it easier to load and unload luggage. |
