The new CLS coupe differs from the predecessor due to a larger wheelbase. The spaciousness and comfort in the vehicle interior is significantly better. The trunk dimensions have significantly changed, however the trunk capacity remains the same.
The vehicle length and the larger wheelbase extend the vehicle and represent greater sportiness also due to the visually greater width over the rear axle. The front track width contributes to increased ride comfort.
The larger vehicle floor space in comparison to the predecessor also offers increased space for the driver, front passenger and rear seat passengers in the vehicle interior. The effective leg room behind the front seats has increased by 13 mm to 890 mm.
