Check whether the electrical seat adjustment of the front seat at the left is fully operational.

 To do so, adjust the front seat at the left to the foremost and highest seat position.

 The findings report from the scope of testing must be recorded in writing on the workshop order and then filed in a tamperproof manner.

Remove/install

Remove trim (1) from front seat frame.



Lift floor covering (2) under front seat at left so that the wiring harness is accessible.

Remove retaining clip (3) from wiring harness for mounting to floor covering (2).

Place floor covering (2) back under front seat at left.

Remove retaining clip (4) from wiring harness for fastening to holder of control unit.

Fasten wiring harness using cable tie (6) and retaining clip (5) to new position on control unit bracket.

 Ensure that wiring harness is routed free of tension.

Install in the reverse order.
