Remove

Open liftgate

Release nut (1) from rear spoiler at right and left


Use suitable tool when releasing nut (1)!
Improper handling here may lead to paint damage.

Release side spoiler (2) at left and right

 Removal: To do so, grip side spoiler (2) on edge and detach through a short, forceful tug.

Remove side spoiler (2) at right and left



Clean

Remove glue residues and clean bonding surfaces



Install

Detach film from bonding surface (3)

Raise rear spoiler at side slightly

Position side spoiler (2)

 To do so, tilt side spoiler (2) inwards and position with rubber lip at front under the rear spoiler.
When positioning the side spoiler (2) care must be taken to ensure that the adhesive strips do not touch the bonding surface!

Carefully tilt side spoiler (2) outwards towards its end position

 Make sure that the clips are correctly positioned!

Route lip of side spoiler (2) correctly under the rear window

Install side spoiler (2)

 Installation: Install side spoiler (2) with short, forceful push.
Start with upper clips!

Mount nut (1) on rear spoiler

 Installation: 8Nm

Press side spoiler (2) at outer edge again


