Connect diagnostic unit

Use XENTRY Diagnostics version 12/2015 with all available add-ons or a newer version. The operation steps must be performed exactly as per Xentry Diagnostics! Make sure that the vehicle's on-board electrical system battery has sufficient voltage supply (more than 12.5 V) by using a battery charger. If Xentry Diagnostics is already connected to the vehicle, continue with operation step 3.

Perform SCN coding in front door control unit at the left (N69/1)

To do so, select menu item Control units view  Seats and doors  DCU LF - left front door  Adaptations  Control unit commissioning  Commissioning of already installed control unit.

Then follow the user guidance in Xentry Diagnostics.

The SCN coding automatically starts after selecting the menu item "Commissioning of previously-installed control unit".

If two or more instances of control unit programming or SCN coding are carried out during a workshop visit, the operation items 02­4762 and 02­5058 must only be charged once for each workshop order.
