Check whether waviness is present in the area of the A-pillar along the edge guard (1) on right and left and the gap dimension (arrow B) on the paneling (2) on the right and left B-pillar is correct

Waviness (arrow A) not present, end measure. Gap dimension (arrow B) correct, end measure. Waviness (arrow A) present in area of A-pillar, perform step 3 to 5. Gap dimension (arrow B) on B-pillar not correct, perform work step 6.

Perform work steps 3 to 6 accordingly.

Remove/install

Remove edge guard (1)

Shorten edge guard (1) 15 mm

Overlaps should not be present on the joint.

Reinstall edge guard (1)
