Check gap dimension for A-pillar panel (A) to windshield on driver and front passenger side

 If gap dimension is greater than 3 mm, perform work procedure.

If gap dimension is less than or equal to

3 mm, end measure.

Remove/install

Remove paneling on A-pillar

 Left or right front.

To do so, unclip airbag badge at top and remove hexagon head bolt.

 The operation item should be used corresponding to frequency.

 Mounting wedge

Stick distance piece (1) on flush to instrument panel

 Cut distance piece to width of 40 mm.

Install A-pillar paneling

 Mount A-pillar panel onto distance piece, move to installation position, tighten hexagon head bolt and clip airbag badge back into place.
