Remove underfloor paneling

In area of fuel tank.

Check painting of vent line (1) of fuel tank filler pipe

If no unpainted place is present, finish measure. If unpainted place present, continue with operation step 3.

Loosen fuel hose (2) on vent line (3) and fuel tank

Replace clamp if necessary.

Clean vent line (3)

Align fuel hose (2) between vent line (3) and fuel tank free of tension

Check whether unpainted areas continue to be visible

If unpainted area not visible, proceed with operation step 7. If unpainted area visible, proceed with operation step 8.

Install in the reverse order

End measure.

Remove/install

Remove/install/replace fuel tank filler neck

Fuel tank must only be emptied until it is half full.
