Connect diagnostic system, start XENTRY and switch on ignition

At least XENTRY update 5/2017 and addon 7302 must be installed for the update. As of update 7/2017, the addon will be included with the regular release.

Perform initial quick test

The initial quick test is saved until the diagnosis session is ended.

The update procedure is completely menu-assisted under:

Adaptations 
Initial startup 
Control module programming

Delete fault memory in all control units

Run final quick test, printout initial and final quick test and file in a tamperproof manner

There must be no fault codes in the control units being updated. If necessary, process any fault codes in other control units, subject to a separate repair order.
