 For authorized Mercedes­Benz service partners, only the entry in the Extended VEGA Application (EVA) edition, in the "Current" tab is decisive. An additional test of the affected vehicles in the workshop information system (WIS) or vehicle list is thereby not necessary.

 

Remove/install

Remove, replace identification plate (1) on driver's side B-pillar

 Installation:
The bonding area on the body must be absolutely free of dust and grease.
Otherwise there may be adhesion problems.

 To do so, remove old identification plate (1) using suitable tool and remove any adhesive using suitable cleaning agent.

 Installation: Attach new identification plate (1) to same position again.
