Due to recent events, please note the following:

On vehicles up to vehicle identification number (VIN) 490463, the warm air stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) must be read in as part of the delivery and handover inspection.

The teach-in process for the warm air stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) is available in XENTRY Diagnostics under the following menu item:

The additional work for teaching-in the warm air stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) is remunerated as part of the delivery and hand-over inspection procedure. Please use the above-mentioned operation item to do so.

On vehicles as of VIN 490464, the warm air stationary heater radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) is taught in at the factory. Therefore, the additional operation described here as part of the delivery and handover inspection is no longer required for these vehicles.
