The TMC function for France will in future be implemented in all models.

COMAND APS

In order to activate the TMC function, certain COMAND software releases are in some cases required in addition to the appropriate navigation map data:

For models 171, 211, 219, the TMC functionality for France is available as of navigation DVD version 6.0 and COMAND APS software 30/06.

For models 215, 220, 230, the TMC functionality for France is available as of navigation DVD version 6.0 and COMAND APS software 51/05.

For models 216, 221, the TMC functionality for France is available as of navigation DVD version 4.0 (V11.022) and COMAND APS software 06.32.

For models 164, 169, 203, 209, 245, 251, the TMC functionality for France is expected to be available as of navigation DVD version 8.0. The required COMAND APS software is contained on the navigation DVD and is installed automatically.

The update for the navigation map data as well as for the COMAND APS software is subject to a charge for the customer and must not be billed to warranty or goodwill.

Audio 50 APS

For all models with Audio 50 APS, the software of the Audio 50 APS is contained on the navigation CD. The operating software does not therefore need to be updated separately. The TMC function for France is available in these models as of the following navigation CD version:

For models 171, 211, 219 with Audio 50 APS, the TMC functionality is expected to be available as of navigation CD version 6.0.

For models 164, 169, 203, 209, 245, 251 with Audio 50 APS, the TMC functionality is expected to be available as of navigation DVD version 9.0.
