Due to recent events, we would like to inform you that for the above-mentioned vehicle configuration, the head unit requires SCN coding. Coding increases the runtime of the head unit (radio) to 6 hours. This measure is only to be carried out on vehicles with code X2R (Duty for body manufacturer to convert into a camper van) up to manufacturing date 30.06.2019. As of 01.07.2019, the adaptation will be applied in series production.

Before conducting SCN coding, make sure that the latest software is also installed in the head unit control unit. If not, then the control unit software must be updated.

The scope of work involved in updating the SCN coding or the software in the head unit control unit can be billed through the usual warranty channels using damage code 87100 F1 8.
