In the V-Class, the trim pieces on the center console, doors and side panels are in a piano-lacquer look version, depending on the equipment selected.
If dust has collected on the surface (A) owing to electrostatic charging, microfiber cloths must never be used for dry cleaning as this can cause fine scratches on the surface (A). A corresponding cleaning note has therefore been made in the operating instructions.

To reduce the sensitivity of the interior trim pieces to scratching, a finisher is additionally applied to the surface (A) at the factory. To maintain the surface protection properties of the finisher and to prevent scratching of the surface (A), the following must be observed when cleaning:
The trim pieces must not be treated with commercially available cleaners as they can remove the finisher.
It is recommended to use a cotton cloth from the MercedesBenz product range in combination with clear water.
