As part of discontinuation of the X-Class, all color variants will no longer be available for the Mercedes-Benz Genuine Accessories parts painted in the vehicle color. For this purpose, a special process which affects the following Mercedes-Benz Genuine Accessories parts has been implemented:
Hardtop installation kit
Platform cover installation kit
Platform cover and roll bar installation kit
Sports bar installation kit
If individual color variants are no longer available, it is possible to order the Mercedes-Benz Genuine Accessories part in an alternative vehicle color and to repaint it manually. The resulting extra costs for repainting will be born proportionately provided that the required color variant is no longer stocked at the Global Logistic Center (GLC).
For the extra costs incurred for the repainting, you can create a request through the "EVA/VEGA" system, quoting the following special damage codes. The extra costs incurred will be reimbursed by submitting this request!
Special damage code:
98600 01 (repaint sports bar/discontinuation)
98700 01 (repaint hard tonneau cover (HTC)/discontinuation)
98800 01 (repaint canopy (hardtop)/discontinuation)
If you have any questions or if anything is unclear, please contact your local market support manager for technical accessories and collection articles or sent an XSF ticket to CAC Maastricht.
