Modification notes
During workshop equipment quality assurance in our workshops, it was discovered that 95 % of stationary wheel balancing machines are equipped with centering sleeves which have not been released by VSE/PD.
As a result of this, perfect balancing is not possible.
In the case of MB sheet steel disk wheels with sector centering, perfect balancing is only possible, due to design reasons, if the center wheel hole is centered with a centering sleeve or with a flat cone.
The balancing machines must therefore be retrofitted with a tolerance-free centering sleeve from HAWEKA (Figure 1) or a cone ring from Hoffmann (Figure 2). As a result of the centering sleeve or the cone ring, MB disk wheels are centered in a considerably better manner on the balancing machine, and balancing errors are therefore avoided.
The centering sleeve or the cone ring may also be used for disk wheels without sector centering.
Specify the shaft diameter and balancing machine model on placement of your purchase order.
