Code J88 (calibrating and attaching anti-tamper seal to odometer) is no longer available as factory option.

States where calibration and/or sealing of odometers is prescribed must have this carried out by the relevant dealer in conjunction with the calibration office. This is specific to each state and the relevant calibration office is to be consulted.

Charging of expenses

The costs for calibration and/or sealing are at the customers expense.

In states where calibration and/or sealing is prescribed, proceed as follows.

Installation

Attach seals to speedometer shaft

On transmission output and on instrument cluster at connector 1

Disconnect cable at connector A12.5

Lay auxiliary cable in cable channel

In front area of floor up into the seat frame

Connect auxiliary cable to terminal 30

Insulate cable connection
