Stop of the Service Measures has now been lifted.

There have been several cases of loss of the variant coding in the Sprintshift control unit A 025 545 98 32 when performing the Service Measure cited above.

This loss of the control units variant coding occurs after installing the K84 relay A 002 542 59 19 05 with integrated rectifier diode.

Only vehicles with chassis identification nos. R 108624 - R 238044 are affected.

Service measure 54940 66 should be carried out to prevent customer dissatisfaction.

If a AK330 rectifier diode has been installed in a previous repair measure, please observe the information in BT54.15-D-2601-01A.
