On model 453 the "Arteco ETX 9536B" corrosion prevention agent/antifreeze (fluorescent yellow) is used at the factory. The antifreeze is configured at the factory for a range between -25 °C and -37 °C and therefore it does not need to be adjusted.
It can be used in accordance with MercedesBenz Specification 325.7 for additional fillings because its miscibility with the "Arteco ETX 9536B" corrosion prevention agent/antifreeze is given. In a service/repair case the "Arteco ETX 9536B" corrosion prevention agent/antifreeze can be replaced with one that complies with MercedesBenz specification 325.7 (magenta color). The mixing ratio is to be conducted in line with the following table.
Discoloration towards orange (depending on the mixing ratio) is not relevant in terms of function.

An increase in the mixing ratio (anticorrosion/antifreeze agent ratio) to achieve a higher antifreeze value is not permitted.
Otherwise, the degree of heat dissipation would be impaired.
