Due to recent events we must point out that the repair method and work procedure in repair instructions "Remove/install/seal cylinder liner" have been supplemented.
The extra information applies to checking of the collar seat of the cylinder liner in the crankcase and incorporates additional operations, notes and the new special tool - measuring plate 457 589 00 21 00.
The extended repair instructions are intended to make the decision on reworking the crankcase or replacing the crankcase/engine easier.
The revised and new repair instructions are listed below and will be published with WIS-CD, version 10/10.
