As of the introduction of model 447 (V-Class), all model designations in ASRA family 71 will be described as Pilot as a result of reorientation of the included work text regulation. This will ensure clear determination of work scopes in ASRA.
Objective of pilot:
All work scopes described in the work instructions (AR) are displayed in the ASRA system on the basis of operation items and links to additional operations in addition to the selection of a order preparation. The linking of previous work operations (parenthesized text in the case of technical linked operations) is simultaneously displayed as an additional operation for the selected operation item in ASRA. The until now time-consuming inquiries based on work instructions as well as on the previous "not included" work texts (A) and information on the design group (B) are no longer required. As a result, errors made during order preparation can in future be avoided.
Example: To date
Information content of operation item 82-7837-01 shown on model 639.701 (ASRA family 58) |
P00.01-4451-05
The entire work scope of a repair now comprises the actual operation item (C) and the additional operation items of column "Z" (D). If no additional operation is linked to the work scope, the entire work scope is contained in the respective operation item.
Example: Pilot
Information content of operation item 82-7837-01 shown on model 447.813 (ASRA family 71) |
P00.01-4452-05
What has changed?
In future, no included work texts will be published:
References to "included" are no longer required. The work contents and work units are analyzed completely for each operation item or are supplemented by means of links to additional operations.
The previously freely written not included work texts are no longer required:
All operation items which are not included are offered as additional operation item (column "Z") and can be applied if necessary.
The previous work operation (parenthesized text in the case of technical linked operations) is offered as an additional operation item in column "Z" after the folder is opened (E).
Operation items without additional operations in column "Z" usually contain the work units of the entire repair scope. Exceptions may occur for unforeseeable activities in the case of inspection and fault analysis. Examples:
"Perform quick test" for diagnostic scopes (see SI00.00S0051A)
"Check separate parts ……………….. according to fault code"
"Establish findings" in the case of operation items "Remove/install component; inspect and, if necessary, replace"
References to operation items are omitted in the notes on the design group:
References to operation items under "Operations of group XY include, if necessary" are the content of the work units.
References to operation items under "Operations of group XY do not include" are offered as additional operation items (column "Z") and can be applied if necessary.
These changes do not apply to design groups 60 65, 97 and 98.
Retrospective data entry for existing model series is not performed.
Feedback:
In order to assess whether this procedure is also to be used in future model series, we need active feedback from you. Please use the form "OF00.01-S-3000-03A" and send it to the email address: [email protected]
