Temperature sensor upstream of turbocharger

Please note that in the current EPC edition the documentation of temperature sensor upstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11) for the above-mentioned engine in model 415 is not correct.

The temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11) with part number A 607 905 00 00 may no longer be installed in the above-mentioned engine in model 415. In case of complaint then the temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11) with part number A 607 905 37 00 must be installed.

The adjusted display will soon be available in the EPC.

The temperature sensor upstream of exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11) with part number A 607 905 00 00 in the above-mentioned engine, generated faulty temperature values and the following fault code in the CDI control unit (N3/9):

Temperature sensor 1 'Exhaust system' (cylinder bank 1) has an electrical fault. The limit value for electrical voltage has not been attained.

The repair document AR07.04-S-0071CD must be referred to at all times for removal/installation of the temperature sensor upstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11).

When replacing the temperature sensor upstream of the exhaust gas turbocharger (B19/11) the correct replacement part must be installed.
Otherwise, fault codes may occur in the CDI control unit (N3/9).
