Service Information: Lubricating oil filling/fluids with a pneumatic pump
This service information has the purpose to disclose the moving box for oil drum with pneumatic transfer pump for lubricating oil filling works and other fluids used in several aggregates of Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
The use of a pneumatic transfer pump with a oil gun and a digital counter provides the following advantages in comparison to the traditional filling methods with oil buckets:
Gain in filling time up to 50%;
Easier access for the filling points;
More precision for filling volume;
Waste elimination of remaining lubricant (good for customers and for the environment);
Elimination of spill risks;
Elimination of ergonomic risks for the mechanic.
