35-519 Bleeding ASD hydraulic system
Note
After renewing rear axle center piece, working on ring cylinder or on hydraulic unit, the hydraulic system must be bled.
1 Disconnect electronic ASD control unit (N30/2), connect (35-512).
2 Bridge sockets 8 and 10 on coupling for ASD control unit.
For this purpose use lines with 2.5 mm and 4.0 mm dia. plugs from electrical connection set 201 589 00 99 00.
Note
When sockets are bridged, the solenoid valve opens when the ignition is switched on.
3 Start engine and allow to idle.
4 Remove rubber cap (67a), install.
5 Open bleed fitting, close.
Bleed hydraulic system with bleed fitting (67) on right ring cylinder until oil exiting no longer contains bubbles.
