Function requirements:
Heated seats (HS) are switched on
The different heating stages are implemented through pulsed actuation of the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2, R13/3, and R13/4).
The heating times are fixed (programmed).
Manual switchover
The operation and function indicators of the heated seats (HS) are summarized in the following table. The heat output of the heated cushions (R13/1, R13/2 or R13/3, R13/4) can be manually changed at any time using the left front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s10) and the right front HS [SIH] switch (N72/1s11).
Automatic selection (timer control)
The upper control panel control unit (N72/1) implements the timer control for the heated seats (HS).
Heating stage 3 stays on for 5 min. Then the system automatically switches to heating stage 2.
Heating stage 2 stays on for 10 min. Then the system automatically switches to heating stage 1.
Heating stage 1 stays on for 20 min. Then the heated seats (HS) are automatically switched off.
